About Brooke

WHERE IT ALL STARTED:

Always a die-hard romantic, my passion for event planning all started during an internship for a wedding planning company back in Philadelphia. I opened The Yellow Rose in 2013 and just recently changed the name to Brooke Ashley. I love making my clients' vision for their most important moments become reality, while at the same time handling all the nitty gritty details so they don't have to stress! I believe in quality over quantity, spending time with my clients and getting to know each one.

From baby & bridal showers to weddings of all sizes, I've been fortunate to be a part of so many incredible days and work with such amazing clients.

I am originally from Philadelphia but have lived in Minnesota for over 7 years now. I enjoy planning events all over and don't stick to just Minnesota! One of my favorite venues here in Rochester is the Mayowood Stone Barn, but I have worked at The Art Center, Studio 324 and other various venues around the area.

I live for....

My two daughters (Edrianna & Emersan), my husband Mark (we met sophomore year of high school at the lunch table) our 9 year old dog shih poo (Oakley) Beaches & Palm Trees, Hot Pink, Pinterest, Seafood (give me all the crab legs), white WINE, Traveling, Philadelphia Cheesesteaks, Giving back to others, Shopping (I also manage a local boutique), FAMILY & FRIENDS (super important to me, I travel back to see them all the time)

About Elizabeth
- assistant planner

Hi there! I’m Elizabeth, aka Liz, and I LOVE wedding and event planning. For over five years, I have been helping people plan the most important days of their lives. My goal is to ensure that the planning process and event go off without a hitch and are filled with blissful memories that last lifetime.

I’m a Minnesota native and currently reside in Rochester. In addition to wedding coordination, I work at the American Cancer Society as a Community Development Manager planning events like our annual gala. Doing what I love and making a positive impact in society is the BEST feeling! I also teach dance classes and write for Rochester Women Magazine. I have always liked to stay busy, which is why event planning has become a passion of mine. I feel energized and excited by the hustle and bustle of planning and putting on an event.

In my spare time, I love playing with my two pups, Millie and Poppy, hanging out with my family at our cottage in Wisconsin, attempting to be a yogi, shopping and brunching with friends, and snuggling in at home to watch a good movie with my beau, Paul.
